Compressed Air Pipe and Fittings

Supply and Installation

Discover advanced compressed air piping solutions provided by Enerquip. Engineered for industrial performance, our range of compressed air pipes are manufactured using PE100, a high-performance polymer that delivers superior pressure capacity, airflow efficiency, corrosion resistance, and compatibility with compressor oils. Designed for easy installation and modification, PE100 piping ensures long-term reliability across demanding environments.

Explore our extensive range of compressed air system components, carefully selected to meet diverse industrial needs. Each product reflects years of research and field-tested experience in compressed air applications, offering tailored solutions for manufacturing, automotive, food processing, and more.

This page includes detailed technical specifications, installation guidelines, and design recommendations to help you build a customized compressed air system. Safety is paramount—compressed air products comply with Australian Standards, featuring conservative pressure ratings and industry-leading safety factors for polymer piping systems used with hazardous compressed gases.

CORROSION PREVENTION

Traditional galvanized iron air pipes are prone to corrosion, leading to a host of problems such as air supply contamination, damage to tools and pneumatics, increased friction causing energy losses, reduced bore, and ultimately requiring replacement. Pipeforce air systems, however, eliminate this issue, resulting in clean air and a long-lasting smooth bore.

DESIGN FLEXIBILITY

Pipeforce offers three extensive ranges of fittings - Socket Fusion, Electro Fusion, or Compression - all of which use the same pipe, providing the Designer with design flexibility. This total package, which can be readily altered at any stage, is invaluable to Industry. The system is well-suited to meet the demands of today’s rapid installation schedules.

The installation process for Pipeforce air systems is quick, clean, and simple, eliminating the need for tedious threading of pipe, flaring, or gluing. In fact, installation can be completed 2-5 times faster than with traditional materials. Modifications are easy to make, as new branches, extensions, or take-offs can be added with minimal disruption and cost. This system overcomes the typical inflexibility of traditional systems, and its extensive range of fittings offers additional design versatility.

ECONOMIC ADVANTAGES

Elimination of costly air leaks, made possible through fusion welded fittings and/or proven O Ring fittings. With traditional materials, maintaining air pressure and dealing with recurring air leaks can be costly, resulting in wastage of valuable compressed air and downtime/maintenance costs to fix leaks.
• Energy savings resulting from reduced friction, made possible by the ultrasmooth bore and low friction material.
• Savings in labour costs for installation and modification.
• Low capital costs.
• Low maintenance. Along with low initial costs, the true economy of the Pipeforce PE100 pipe system is realised in its long-term efficiency, reliability, versatility, and minimal need for maintenance.

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE

Pipeforce air systems offer broad chemical resistance, making them a suitable solution for harsh and corrosive environments. Fusion welded fittings provide a high degree of safety in such areas, and welded PE100 is the ultimate polyethylene system due to its fused jointing, minimum entrapment, and high safety factor. For specific applications, please refer to our Technical Department.

Pipeforce air systems utilise food contact grade materials, as Pipeforce PE100 pipe and fittings comply with AS2070.1, which specifies plastic materials suitable for use in contact with food. This provides system approval for use within a food plant. Additionally, Pipeforce PE100 does not support the growth of microorganisms or bacteria. Our Compression fittings conform to AS4129 and BS6920, while our Heavy Duty B.S.P threaded fittings conform to AS3855.3.

Pipeforce air systems offer superior strength due to their higher-grade materials. Compared to other grades of PE currently on the market, Pipeforce has a higher safety factor of 2:1, greater wall thickness, and excellent pressure/temperature capabilities. With a minimum 50-year design life and manufactured to PN25, Pipeforce provides a compressed air rating of 16 bar or 235 P.S.I. @ 20º C in accordance with Australian Standard AS4130, and is extremely robust. Pipeforce is also impact-resistant and ductile in nature, so it will not shatter like PVC, which is not safe for compressed air. Pipeforce is excellent for underground applications, and is thermally stable and suitable for temperatures ranging from -20º C to +60º C continuously, with peaks of up to 95º C.
